Jenni presented a document about the wider social and political issues in Lev
The Leaflet was written and is to be printed by Jonathan and Lawrence – 5,000 copies – a3 and a4 posters too for shops
A stall will be manned on sat 3rd
The awareness/demo is to be 12 noon on the 10th with as much positive media attention as possible
Lawrence pointed out he did not want people saying things like lev is really going down as this is v bad for local business and they have been working hard to keep a positive angle on things.
– will try to get the youth project involved
David Bgra will devise a distribution plan for the leaflets centering on the district most affected by Kwik save
Jamie DNG – will get leaflet designed/organised ready for printing for tomorrow – Tues 20th feb
FARA - presented some great slogans on bean cans as a visual aid for the demo
Organisation for the stall and leaflet distribution will be by email.
Final arrangements for the demo could be made atfter or at charlottes meeting on 3rd march – we will hopefully have more fired up people ready to commit to some action.
