On Stockport Road, opposite the former Kwiksave with our paper shops publicising the Richard Leese meeting. Many people
wrote what their preferred new shop would be on the paper shop fronts. Favourites shop requests included a book shop, a record
shop, a deli, a fishmonger, and a branch of JJB Sports along with the loud requests for a supermarket. Others added service
facilities as well as retail, calling for a youth club, a community centre and more primary school places.
