Event March 10th
The purpose of the 'event' (demo/protest whatever you want to call it!)
was to raise awareness of the
South Manchester Regeneration meeting on the 14th March
and help promote some speedy action on the growing 'hole' in the center
of Levenshulme at the KwikSave/St. Marys site.
Over a three hour period on the day five hundred and thirty people signed the petition directed to Sir Richard Leese, Leader of Manchester City Council. The number of protesters on Saturday exceeded expectations, every one got chatting
and contibuted their ideas about what they want for Levenshulme.
