What kind of organisation runs down your community centre, demolishes it without consultation, then says you can use the land as a community site only if you stump up £100,000.00? That is complete piracy. Everyone in Manchester would recognise Bernstein's letter to be a disgraceful response. It should be publicised as widely as possible. I'm sure the South Manchester Reporter would be interested.

THIS IS DISGUSTING - THE LOCAL COMMUNITY HAS TO FORK OUT £100,000.00 FOR THE LAND THAT HOUSED THEIR BOXING GYM COMMUNITY CENTRE THGAT GOT BURNT DOWN - HEARD IT ALL NOW, THE COUNCIL SHOULD BE INVITED TO YOUR FORUM ON BOTH THESE SUBJECTS TO ANSWER THAT. I WOULD INVITE THE COUNCILLORS, COUNCIL, MPS TO THIS FORUM AND GET THEM TO PUT IT IN WRITING ON THIS FORUM, ALL DATED AND DOCUMENTED.
